About Dustin Hertz
Dustin Hertz has been syncing beats since 1998 — long before algorithms did the job. Born with rhythm in his veins, he first stepped behind the decks in 2000 and quickly became a resident DJ in some of the most vibrant commercial clubs across the Netherlands. When jumpstyle exploded out of Belgium, Dustin didn’t just follow — he led. Between 2005 and 2009, he lit up dance floors from Complex to Zalinaz, Zino, The-Return and the legendary Cherrymoon. His sets were raw, energetic, and unforgettable. As the jumpstyle wave peaked and faded, Dustin — then still performing under his real name, Pieter Leijten — pivoted to production. That shift sparked a new chapter: crafting hard-hitting tracks that now echo across Europe’s biggest festivals. Today, Dustin’s music drops regularly on labels like Pat B’s Yellow Fever and his own imprint DHZ Music. His tracks are championed by the heavyweights of the harddance scene and featured across TikTok edits, Instagram reels, and festival aftermovies. From Decibel Outdoor to Intents Festival, The Qontinent to Bass Events Outdoor — Dustin Hertz isn’t just part of the lineup. He’s part of the movement.
